Very Pleased
My wife and I were having problems with our water system, leaks and a system that had been installed by a very bad plumber. We called Wilbur Plumbing to fix a leak that was getting worse by the minute. Josh came out, fixed the leak and looked over the system that our old plumber “leaky Dave” installed. He said it may be time to upgrade or redo some of our system. Josh and Mark came out to evaluate the system. Our ph and hardness were not right, the filter system was not working right, the well tank was leaking and there was air coming into the system. We decided to put in a new well tank, redo the old filter and add a water softener. This was a big job that would require more than one day but they did not leave until we had water for the night. The next day they were back, finished the job, and found and fixed a cracked fitting in our well house. Our system is spot on now and will serve us for many years. These guys did an excellent install, it is neat and clean, all fittings(shutoffs) easy to get to and pipes are run and clamped to the walls. These guys take pride in their work and even kept saying that they “own” the system, meaning they wanted to do the service each year so that they could make sure that it was running the way it should. Win-win for us. Our last plumber left us with a system that did not work correctly and did not come to service the system. As a contractor myself it is nice to see guys that take the time to do the job right. Thanks, guys.

Jeff Wilbur

President

Founder and president of Jeffrey A. Wilbur Plumbing and heating, Inc. Jeff started working while still in Junior High School for his Grandfather in a family owned business. "I was blessed to learn early in life about a strong work ethic and treating people with honesty and integrity from my Father and Grandfather in their business". That experience inspired Jeff too start his own business in May of 1986. With one pick-up truck and working out of a 10' x 20' garage that they rented Jeff and his wife Holly took the plunge (no pun intended) and started Wilbur Plumbing and Heating, Inc. For 27 years they have operated out of the Mechanicsburg area and have become known as the Hometown company for friendly, personal and professional Plumbing and HVAC service. Jeff lives in rural Mechanicsburg with his wife of 30 years, Holly. They have 3 adult children. Colton, Brianna and Joshua who is now working with them in the family business.

Holly Wilbur

Director

My role here at JWP&H has always been working with the financial side of the business. I have worked with my husband now for 27 years...it really doesn't seem like that long ago when we started out with a little desk in the corner of our family room. I have always supported the business with my education in accounting however; my main focus was always our children. We have 3 awesome young adults now and they are all so successful in their own right. I have a strong sense of faith & family. I very much enjoy baking, riding motorcycles with Jeff and spending time with the kids when their schedules allow.

Josh Wilbur

Plumbing Technician

Josh was born and raised in Mechanicsburg and is the oldest of three children. He attended Cumberland Valley High School and began working for his father, during his summers off school, as nothing more than a helper. He then went to Penn State University where he attained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. During his college years, Josh actually never showed much interest in pursuing the family business until a family vacation in 2010. What seemed like meaningless conversations about the fate of the family business, when Jeff would decide to retire, would bring Josh to realization that he could watch his father's once grassroots organization simply fall by the wayside. After completing college, he decided to follow in his father's footsteps as a plumber and HVAC technician to carry his father's business legacy into a second generation of the Wilbur family. Josh aspires to provide the south central Pennsylvania region with many more years of stellar service, while striving to always exceed customers' expectations.
